Welcome to Masjid Ali Murtada,   السلام عاليه كوم

This center will allow us to re-connect our hearts with the love of Allah and Our Beloved Prophet. Our ways is the way of love and peace. We provide the highest level of educational and spiritual activities that you, the seekers are searching for. We emphasize the well-known Islamic principle that as long as a believer he or she remains within the boundaries of the community (Ummah) of the Prophet Muhammad , they will be on the guiding light. This is in light of the verse "and indeed, this your ummah is one ummah and I am your Lord, so worship Me." [Anbiya, 21:92]. Indeed, as Islamic history bears out, the Muslim Ummah is one and will always be one. The continuity of this thought provided the basis of stability for the Ummah. Like life itself, the Muslim Ummah is organically connected with its own geographical space and historical time parameters. When that connection is severed, confusion and division must result, as we are now experiencing as a community in North America.

Wisdom Of the Day

The Prophet Muhammad said  , Any word of wisdom is the stray of the believer, who has the better right to it wherever it may be found.

Seyedna Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani رضي الله عنه said in his poetry: “By the gate of your generosity stands a sinner, who is mad with love./ O best of mankind in radiance of face and countenance!/ Through you he seeks a means (tawassala), hoping for Allah’s forgiveness of slips;/ from fear of Him, his eyelid is wet with pouring tears./ Although his genealogy attributes him to a stone (hajar),/ how often tears have flowed, sweet, pure and fresh!/ Praise of you does not do you justice, but perhaps,/ In eternity, its verses will be transformed into mansions./ My praise of you shall continue for as long as I live,/ For I see nothing that could ever deflect me from your praise.”
